Welcome to the Wolfpack, class of 2025 and transfer students! To help you learn more about the music making opportunities available to you at NC State, there are several ways you can connect with us during New Student Orientation either virtually or on campus.

Zoom Q&A Sessions – Meet Our Faculty (virtual session)

Register for one of our three Zoom Q&A sessions for a chance to meet Department Head Dr. Daniel Monek and some of our faculty. This is a great chance to have your questions answered. If you’re considering auditioning for an ensemble, take a look at which ensemble directors will be attending each session and choose the session that matches your interests. All questions are welcome at all sessions!

Drop-in at Price Music Center (campus visit)

Representatives of the Department of Music will be available in Price Music Center during the afternoon free session on your campus visit day. Drop by Price after the conclusion of your required sessions, between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., for a chance to ask questions, learn more about music making opportunities, and see our facilities.
